We are back after our annual weekend trip to Knoxville for Destination Imagination Global Finals. The competition was stiff this year and DI is steadily growing globally. Both teams and their supporters had a fun time. The HS team tied for 27th out of 61 teams.

Last May 7, this is what I encountered on my early morning walk - another walker! And, who could it be? My Mom! Here's to you, Mom! May you start this year the same way or whatever way it is that moves you to find satisfaction, happiness, and peace. You have always been the most-admired Mom (by me) that I know and I have always wanted to be for my kids what I feel you have been for me. What a gift you are. Thank you. I love you. Julie

 Beautiful but windy, drying day here - we don't need the drying.  Summer seems to be here with full leaf and lilacs gone.
