Happy Summer!

OK, so the seasons are reversed down under and Julie probably still feels like it's months away, the Kellogg boys are already wallowing in the joys of summer. We had our first mountain bike trip to the high country today and staked out a campsite for the weekend. The weather in Boulder reached 90 for the fisrt timethis year and we are all in the groove of a different schedule. (There was sprinkler jumping!)
This past weekend was also the time-honored ritual of the Bolder Boulder. Boden and I walked/jogged together for his first experience, and he was smitten with the event. I put together a short video of his journey and posted it on youtube- it's well worth the 5 minutes in sheer entertainment value, and I hope it will be an inspiration for other Kelloggs to come out for the biggest weekend in Boulder (Hint, hint Coburns) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cnWbga1KP2s

Blackwells- heads-up! We have sent a little friend on a mission to visit you! The boys have wanted to get some geocaching trackables (Travel Bugs) for a while, and Reid just got one that he has named "Boomerang" and he's sending it your way. It turns out that there's a geocache at the end of your street, and we've made it his destination. We'll fill you in if he gets there and you can run down and get him before you send him home. Here are some stats for him (you may need to create an account to view some of it, but don't worry- it's an innocuous website.
Here's Boomerang's page:http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=3528124 It would be fun if you could follow his progress. Our team name is TeamBRR and our password is binky12. If any of you have a smartphone, you can get a geocaching app and use it to find caches in your area. I hope it won't take the little guy too long to reach you!

Happy summer, everyone!
